An insight into planning, preparing and decorating a Manor House for Christmas - 2pm

Each year we decorate a manor house in Gower, usually with a group of students from all around the UK.  This year due to the covid pandemic, we were unable to offer this full day workshop.  So instead I've put together a talk to show you how I plan, prepare and decorate the house.  Taking you from the initial site visit to the final decoration, including an insight into how the students from previous years learnt new skills and techniques.

The manor house is a working hotel and restaurant and each year the foliage, seedheads and berries are sourced from the grounds of the manor house.  No single use plastics or floral foam are used and everything is environmentally friendly and compostable.
